Claire provides individualised physiotherapy assessments and recovery programmes tailored to each individual. Each person’s exercise and recovery programme is created to help them recover from pain and move better with more confidence, but also to suit their lifestyle, goals and activity levels. Exercises and advice are sent after each appointment to provide support outside of appointments.
Claire is also a trained Pilates instructor, Hypopressives coach and massage therapist specialising in Myofascial Release, Swedish, Sports, Pregnancy, oncology, massage therapies. These treatments are used alongside or after physiotherapy treatment to help people recover from their pain or injury and to stay well long term. Claire has undertaken further training in TMJD physiotherapy to help people suffering with jaw pain, headaches and associated issues.
Claire takes a holistic approach in her work. She understands the impact that previous injuries and times of emotional stress and trauma can have on the body, and how this can contribute to the development of new aches and pains. When working as a physiotherapist she undertakes an in depth assessment to identify the true cause of your symptoms and the best way to treat them, and may suggest adjunct therapies and exercise methods to assist in your recovery.
