Hypopressives is a method of exercise involving poses, breathing techniques and breath holds to create low intra-abdominal pressure, whilst strengthening the body. It is widely taught accross Europe to help women regain their core and pelvic floor function after childbirth, as well as a stand alone exercise routine for overall fitness and aesthetics.
Research has shown hypopressives can greatly benefit women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse. Claire teaches the “Create lift” programme, a series of the most effective poses for women with these symptoms. The programme is suitable for beginners and adaptable for those of different levels of fitness and ability. It is proven to give results.
