Hypopressives is a method of exercise involving poses, breathing techniques and breath holds to create low intra-abdominal pressure, whilst strengthening the body. It is widely taught accross Europe to help women regain their core and pelvic floor function after childbirth, as well as a stand alone exercise routine for overall fitness and aesthetics.

Research has shown hypopressives can greatly benefit women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse. Claire teaches one to one hypopressives lessons, teaching women the most effective poses for these conditions. Hypopressives lessons can be adapted to suit your individual needs, they are suitable for beginners and adaptable for those of different levels of fitness and ability. Hypopressives is proven to give results and has already benefitted many women and helped them regain the life they love without worrying about their pelvic floor.

Individual Hypopressives lessons are available in time frames to suit your needs. An hour is recommended for your first appointment.

Your first appointment includes a discussion about your general and pelvic health, your goals and reasons for starting hypopressives. You will then be taught the breathing technique and some poses to inform your practice. This can be practiced, improved upon and more poses taught in subsequent sessions. You will receive a PDF of poses to inform your home practice.
