Treatment is always adapted to your comfort levels and stage of healing.
Scar therapy can often begin once the wound has fully closed and healed at approximately 6 weeks after surgery, although this varies depending on the type of surgery and your medical team’s guidance. If you are receiving chemo or radiotherapy you may wish to wait until this treatment has finished and/or discuss when to start scar therapy with your oncology team.
Even if your surgery was months or years ago, treatment can still be beneficial.
If you are recovering from surgery and would like support with scar healing, movement or discomfort, Claire can help.
Your first appointment will be 45 minutes and cost £65.
Follow up appointments will vary in time required according to your needs and treatment plan. Claire will advise you on what you will need at the first appointment.
